Event 10/10/2019 - Cyber Threats: Certifying your organisation's security

Updated: Aug 7, 2019

Re-alitek are pleased to announce a new security event for October 2019.

This seminar aims to give business owners an overview of Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001. Two of the more popular security certification schemes available to organisations in the UK.

We are delighted to have Laura Hodgson (Cyber Protect Officer) from the Regional Organised Crime Unit joining us on the day. Laura will be briefing attendees on the latest cyber threats organisations face in the region and how you can guard against them.

With the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018 and recent fines for breaches making headline news, organisations are now more than ever being asked to demonstrate the security of their information systems and activities. Certification is a key method organisations can leverage to provide such evidence.

Who should attend:

Representatives and owners of organisations who are considering security certification schemes. You may need to satisfy a clients security requirements as you form part of a supply chain or wish to gain access to tenders and bids that require certification.

You may also be looking for recognised ways of demonstrating the security of your services to customers and consumers.
